A Healing of Art: The Tattoo
Seeking to raise awareness of our bodies as temples with a keen desire to decorate, SMS talks about the magical and healing art of the tattoo.  Exploring the history, culture and significance of this transformative art form, we will speak on the Five Questions of getting a tattoo.  Come ready to share your experiences or ask questions as the session will end with an open discussion on this Healing of Art called the Tattoo.

Clearing, Cleaning and Housekeeping: Maintaining Your Energetic System
Stressed out and tired from work? Feeling drained and overwhelmed? Are you an Energy Worker feeling you aren’t getting your own needs met? Maybe you are just looking for some new tools to aid you in your Personal Practice?  If so, join SMS in this informative and experiential workshop on helping to clear out and maintain your personal energetic system.

Using techniques from smudging and meditations to breath work and shield building, we will focus on how to clear out your energetic system, maintain it and keep it clean.  These tools can help to bring balance and well being to your life whatever your experience level, from the novice to the professional. Join us for a brighter more energetic you!
           
Heart Strings
Whether through a touch, a hug, or the intimacy of sex, our bodies often aid us as we seek to deepen our relationships and connect hearts and spirits with our loved ones.  Join SMS for a ritual of connection, using our bodies to join our spirits together.  We will each be connected to our partner(s) using small temporary surface piercings, bringing us closer to the goals we seek within our relationships. Bring a partner(s), blankets or pillow to sit upon comfortably, and an open heart.  Please wear a shirt that exposes your chest or plan to perform this ritual shirtless. 

Kink Without Corners: A Ritual of Archetypes
Together, we create sacred space and invoke the BDSM archetypes of dominant, submissive, sadist, masochist, and switch.  As the doorways open at this time, explore each of the archetypes and how they reflect in you.  Though this is not a play session, ritual participants will have the opportunity to interact with each of the archetypes to discover how each of these roles can be incorporated into their lives.

My Gods--Did That Hurt?
Many people who sport various body modifications (piercings, tattoos, etc) get the age-old question, "Did that hurt?" Come share your story about your body modifications and whatever meanings they hold for you. Curious about body modification as a lifestyle or ritual choice? Come talk with some who have experienced it! For people with body modifications and those interested in getting modified.

Playing with Power Panties
The women of SMS invite goddesses of all shapes, sizes, and shades to explore the ins and outs of sacred underwear! Join this women-only group in imbuing this intimate article of clothing with pure sacredness, joy, and amusement. We’re tickled silly to discover our goddess-ness together and take that power home with us – in our pants! Panties and art supplies will be provided. If you are an unusual size, please bring a pair of your own panties to play with.

Reiki 1 Workshop
Calling those who seek to heal themselves! Come and receive this blessing that is your birthright. Reiki or “universal life energy” is a beneficial energy form that we all use. Come and learn as SMS teaches its history and some of its uses. For the beginner or expert seeking to expand your toolbox, the class will end with Reiki 1 attunements for 15 to 20 students in a session.

Responsible Blood Play
Blood is considered to be one of the sacred essences of life, and must therefore be treated with the utmost respect. For those who practice the Art of Blood Play, safety is always a top priority.  Join SMS for a lesson on the hazards and dangers of blood play and how to work around them safely. There will be a demonstration and participation is welcome.

The Ritual Tattoo
People, especially those on a spiritual path, are looking for a magical, transformative experience that will not only help achieve the goal of the magic they are trying to work, but will stay with them for the rest of their lives. Few things can achieve this like a tattoo done with intent. Together we will explore the boundaries of how tattoo and ritual can be an effective tool for many of us. A discussion of ways and means will be followed by and actual ritual tattoo. Come ready to learn and participate. Drums, percussion, musical instruments, voices and a willingness to hold space are welcome.

Time and Again: An Exploration of Photography & Sexuality
Voyeur and exhibitionist come together, using photography to explore new avenues of expression in the bedroom.  Bring your camera and your partner to this workshop, where we create art using both our bodies and minds.  Participants will learn technical skills and the confidence, patience, and trust needed to incorporate photography into everyday sexuality.

What’s the Point? Play Piercing Ritual
We have been trained from birth to seek comfort and prevent harm from coming to our bodies; but when we do so, we miss the opportunity to use our bodies to take our spirits to another place.  What’s the Point? allows us to explore a new relationship with our bodies.  Workshop participants will have the opportunity to receive one small temporary piercing as part of a short ritual of self-exploration.
